JLS, or Jack the Lad Swing, is a British boyband that rose to fame in the late 2000s. The band members, Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, Jonathan “JB” Gill, and Oritsé Williams, were all individually talented singers and dancers who came together to form a group that took the UK music scene by storm. JLS released four studio albums, had multiple number one singles, and won several awards. JLS first gained attention when they appeared on the fifth season of the UK reality show, The X Factor, in 2008. The band made it to the finals, finishing as the runners-up to winner Alexandra Burke. Despite not winning the competition, JLS was signed to a record deal with Epic Records, and their debut single “Beat Again” was released in 2009. The single debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart and was followed by a string of successful hits such as “Everybody in Love,” “One Shot,” and “The Club Is Alive.” . JLS Buy here
