Much Ado About Nothing
“Much Ado About Nothing” is a comedic play written by William Shakespeare, believed to have been written in 1598-1599. It’s a witty social commentary on love, deceit, and forgiveness and is considered one of Shakespeare’s best comedies. The play features two parallel plots: the story of two pairs of lovers and the false accusations of infidelity that threaten to undermine their relationships. It is known for its memorable characters, including the sharp-witted Beatrice and Benedick, and the cunning villain Don John. Shakespeares much-loved comedy meets reality TV romance in a raucous and lyrical adaptation by poet and playwright Debris Stevenson (Poet in da Corner, Royal Court) at the iconic Duke of Yorks Theatre in Londons West End.
